A 24-year-old British guy has been killed in Syria, the BBC understands.

Oliver Hall, from the Portsmouth house, joined Kurdish armed teams to struggle towards so-called Islamic State.

Another British fighter described him as a “lovely lad” who was once “excited to be there”.

Kurdish resources say Mr Hall was once killed on 25 November whilst clearing mines in Raqqa. He is the 7th British guy to were killed in Syria with the Kurdish-led team the YPG.
