Police looking out for a lacking woman in Australia say she is prone to had been killed via a crocodile.
Anne Cameron, 79, was once reported lacking from a nursing house close to the Queensland the city of Port Douglas on Tuesday.
Clothes and a strolling stick bearing the title of Ms Cameron, who suffers from dementia, have been discovered subsequent to a creek.
On Friday, police mentioned stays discovered within reach have been showed as human and so they have been “highly likely” to belong to Ms Cameron.
“We strongly suspect now that there has been involvement of a crocodile attack,” Acting Inspector Ed Lukin mentioned.
“There will be forensic tests done on those remains, but I will stress that there are no other missing persons in the Port Douglas area.”
Police suspect that Ms Cameron was once attacked after strolling into bushland about 2km (1.2 miles) from the nursing house.
She had moved to the nursing house not too long ago to be nearer to family, native media mentioned.
Wildlife officials will set crocodile traps in the realm the place the stays have been discovered.
Crocodile assaults have claimed 9 lives in Queensland since 1985, together with a spear fisherman in March.
