Derby cordoned-off Christmas tree ‘a humiliation’

A big cordon located round a town’s Christmas tree for “public safety” has been criticised for looking “horrible”.

A large space of fencing – described by way of the council as an exclusion zone – has been located across the undecorated tree in Derby’s Market Place.
