Man admits injuring two in Beckton birthday acid attack

A person has admitted severely injuring a girl and her cousin when acid used to be thrown thru a automobile window.

Resham Khan and Jameel Muhktar each suffered serious burns to the face and frame in the attack in Beckton, east London, on 21 June.

John Tomlin, of Colman Road, Canning Town, pleaded accountable to two counts of causing grievous physically hurt (GBH).

The 25 12 months previous denied two fees of inflicting GBH with intent, right through the semblance at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

Ms Khan have been celebrating her 21st birthday with Mr Muhktar when the attack happened on Tollgate Road.

The Manchester Metropolitan University scholar suffered face and neck accidents and used to be left with injury to her left eye.
