A Chinese guy has been fined after he used to be captured on surveillance pictures painting new road signs in a bid to make his day-to-day commute more uncomplicated.

The Modern Express reviews 28-year-old guy surnamed Cai, used to be fined 1,000 yuan (£112; $151) within the jap town of Lianyungang, Jiangsu province. He used to be captured on digital camera on 27 September with a can of white paint painting new arrows onto the road to redirect visitors, and instructed police it used to be the results of frustrations over the lengthy delays on his day-to-day bus adventure to paintings.

“I saw that the straight lane was always packed with cars, while the lane that turns left has a lot of space,” he instructed the police.

“I thought changing the signs would make my commute smoother.”

Traffic police instructed Modern Express that they concept Mr Cai’s behaviour used to be “very dangerous” and may have ended in a collision. They have since deployed staff to repaint the road.

This isn’t the primary time that anyone in China has used their arts and crafts talents to invent their very own visitors regulations.

In May, a motive force in jap Zhejiang used to be fined after surveillance pictures captured him drawing his personal parking zone with chalk on a road.
